We have often wondered what was going on behind the screens of the enormous 13 century Fondaco dei Tedeschi building one of the biggest on the Grand Canal. DFS (owned by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey) will be opening its T Galleria on 1 October, the company's first foray into the European market.

“Venice was the epicenter of trade in the world for 500 years, and we are now returning it to its original destination of commerce.” says the Chairman of DFS.

T Galleria’s Venice storefront will have a focus on Italian products such as foods, beverages and in-store artisan presentations. The first floor will house women’s apparel and accessories, the second menswear and watches and jewelry while the third floor will be home to DFS’ first shoe salon alongside beauty and fragrances. T Galleria’s fourth floor will be a public events space overlooking Venice.
